Working with DSOs to Achieve Strategic Objectives (2017)Contains 1 Component(s) Recorded On: 04/18/2017

Carrier-DSO relations are too often penny wise and dollar foolish. There is tremendous savings potential on administrative costs by streamlining processes on tasks that are redundant of what DSOs also perform. Examples include directory updates and provider credentialing. An additional area of savings for both plans and DSOs is electronic claims submissions. These savings may yield a better return to both carriers and doctors and result in a partnership supporting dental wellness for dental carriers and overall wellness for multi-line carriers.
