*FREE* The Impact of the 2020 Elections: Preparing for the Future of Dental Benefits Advocacy (recording)
Recorded On: 11/30/2020
NADP MEMBERS ONLY
Join Mike Adelberg, leader of Faegre Drinker Consulting’s health care strategy practice, and Nick Manetto, a principal and senior lobbyist at Faegre Drinker, as they breakdown the 2020 elections and analyze how shifts in the federal Executive Branch and Congress will influence the agenda for congressional leaders who will be serving on key committees. This webinar will address possible 2021 legislative activities, regulatory changes, and budget developments, as well as what may happen in the remaining lame duck session as it relates to health care policy. Adelberg and Manetto will also offer their unique insights into how the future political landscape will impact the major government health care programs—Medicare, Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act—and the role of oral health in those programs. You will also hear how NADP plans to position itself with political leaders to influence positive dental benefits policy outcomes at the federal and state level.
In this session you will:
- Get a recap of the outcomes of major races across the country and explore the implications for healthcare stakeholders
- Learn how the political environment and possible actions from a new Congress and a new administration will impact the dental benefits industry
- Gain insight into NADP’s advocacy strategy for 2021 and beyond
